Our goal is to provide your patients with timely, evidence-based support for communication and swallowing needs, particularly for adults living with Parkinson’s disease, Parkinson Plus syndromes, and other neurological conditions.
WHEN TO REFER A PATIENT
You may wish to refer a patient who is experiencing:
Changes in speech clarity, volume, or voice quality
Difficulty initiating or maintaining conversations
Challenges with swallowing (coughing, choking, or discomfort during meals)
Reduced confidence in social interactions due to communication changes
Early referral can make a significant difference in treatment outcomes and quality of life.
